No, not the city of Phoenix but the mythical bird. This blog and its author have been foundering in the ashes with no voice. I may have found my voice again. I'm trying.

I went shopping yesterday all by myself and had a really good time. I had not been to the mall or any other store for fashion items for quite some time. I managed to find some things I had to have and subsequently, inspiration for a fashion post. This is after all supposed to be a fashion blog!

Benefit Fashion Show in Downtown RVA

I received word today about a Fashion Show being held at the United Network for Organ Sharing at the end of March. I wanted to share it with all of you in hopes you would attend. I just love good causes and when fashion is included it is even better.

January Houndstooth

Hey fashion lovers! Finally, an outfit post!! I haven't done one of these in far too long, I know. The motivation for taking photos just hasn't been with me. I have been busy cooking and knitting and domestic in general. There will be food posts coming soon. (I know this is a fashion blog, but I love food too!) Today, however, I wore an outfit with every intention to capture it, and managed to forget while I was out. Fortunately, my son saved the day when I got home and took pictures for me. 

Houndstooth is my pattern of the day. This outfit is rather simple, but I just love the graphic print.

Puppy Love

November was a very busy month and kept me away from posting. My arm is almost normal now and my doctor let me go back to the gym. This post is not about fashion but focused on the newest members of our family.

Hazardous Heels: Falling for Pumps

Last month I posted on my recent shoe purchases. One of those pairs of shoes were these Nine West suede pumps:

These shoes are a beautiful shade of oxblood and really amp up a neutral outfit. They also have proven to be quite dangerous footwear. 

Sporting Aqua Heels

While I was out in Phoenix, I purchased a gorgeous pair of Michael Antonio heels at DSW. Every time I wear these women gush over them, even in the dark! 

Tuesday Shoesday: Madden Girl Vexxx

Tuesday is always Shoesday. I can't help myself!  I am Vexxxed with an obsession for shoes. 
During our shopping spree on Saturday, Tiffany and I swung by the DSW as our first stop to see the new stock. As usual, we saw plenty of shoes we loved.
